De Coral USB Accelerator is een USB-stick met een gespecialiseerde ASIC (Edge TPU) voor het versnellen van machine learning (ML) -berekeningen.

De Edge TPU-coprocessor is in staat tot 4 biljoen bewerkingen per seconde, met slechts 2 watt vermogen.

Alle grote platforms - Debian Linux (inclusief Raspberry Pi), macOS en Windows 10 worden ondersteund.

Stel eenvoudig TensorFlow Lite-modellen samen om op de Edge TPU te draaien.

Raspberry Pi niet inbegrepen!

NB: The USB connector is compatible with USB 2.0 but the inferencing speed will be much slower for USB 2.0.

Performance TL;DR:

~ 20 - 40 x speed-up in inferencing time compared to Embedded CPU, depending on the model architecture, CPU & connection used. See link for more information.

Using an appropriate model, the reduced inferencing time with the Edge TPU will allow you to do real-time inferencing at 50 fps or more.
