Orders received before 12 noon are processed and shipped the same day from our shop in the Netherlands Imperial Topaz Although Imperial Topaz is in the mica section it is a matte brown color pigment. Used in color cosmetics, we use this pigment (along with Imperial citrine and Pearl Nude) in most of our foundations. INCI Name: Iron Oxides (CI77491, 77492, 77499) & Mica (CI 77019) Safe for use on eyes, lips, face and nails. Recommended for makeup and soap making. Micas are non-toxic occurring naturally from the minerals muscovite and silicate. Mica if smaller than 20 microns, gives a satiny appearance while large micas provide a sparkly effect. Micas are then coated with various oxides, carmine and titanium dioxide to give a full range of colours. . Our lip-safe micas are a wonderful way to add colour, shine, and sparkle to your soaps, shampoos, lip balms, lipsticks, lotions, creams, and mineral make up. We use this mica in our lipsticks and eyeshadows.
